Song Sparrow

The Song Sparrow, Melospiza melodia, is one of our more common birds.  A frequent visitor to the feeders, this is a rather solitary bird, who often competes with the Dark Eyed Juncos for food.  Easily identified by the longish tail and the dark patch on it's breast.
